Kingsbury General Improvement District (KGID) is pleased to announce that its Lake Tahoe Basin Wastewater Conveyance and Utility Infrastructure Project has been included in Fiscal Year 2027 federal funding requests submitted by Congressman Mark Amodei, Senator Catherine Cortez Masto, and Senator Jacky Rosen.
The project was submitted for consideration at the full requested amount of $3 million and is intended to support critical investments in wastewater and utility infrastructure serving the Kingsbury Grade and Stateline communities.
The proposed project includes the construction of new sewer conveyance infrastructure, replacement of aging asbestos cement pipeline, and upgrades to water and wastewater facilities that serve residents, businesses, and visitors within the Lake Tahoe Basin.
